Bio
Before joining the firm, Phillip served as a law clerk for the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals, where he gained valuable experience in matters involving government contracts and federal procurement disputes. During law school, he gained additional experience through internships with the Department of Justice, Maritime Administration and the Honorable Jorge L. Alonso in the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to attending law school, Phillip was a project engineer for a large general contractor and worked on healthcare and industrial power projects. In his role, he prepared and evaluated bids, facilitated submittal review, collaborated on schedule revisions, and completed project closeout. Through working on a variety of different projects, Phillip also learned how to successfully deliver projects using both traditional and integrated project delivery methods.
